Andbank España appoints Itziar Gómez de la Vega as Director of Debt Advisory

Andbank España has appointed Itziar Gómez de la Vega as Director of Debt Advisory to lead its financing advisory strategy and develop bespoke debt solutions for corporate and institutional clients. The move is part of the bank’s plan to reinforce its capacity to structure and advise on complex financing transactions.

Gómez de la Vega brings more than 25 years of experience in capital markets, fixed‑income origination, structuring and project finance. Most recently she was Managing Director and Head of Debt Advisory at Bestinver Securities, where she led origination and structuring teams for mid‑cap companies in both public and private formats, with particular focus on infrastructure, renewable energy and real estate.

Her career includes senior roles at Ahorro Corporación Financiera, Banesto and the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), providing broad experience in deal origination, structured products and sector‑specific financings. She is recognised for designing and executing tailored financing structures for sophisticated transactions.

Gómez de la Vega holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in Research in Economics and Business from ICADE. She has completed specialised programmes in derivatives, structured products, risk management and market analysis, including the Certificate in Financial Information (CIF) from AFI and technical accreditations under MiFID II. She has also taught International Finance and Financial Markets at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE). At Andbank España she will be responsible for advising clients on tailored debt solutions and strengthening the bank’s ability to structure complex financing operations.
