The Bomosa Foundation has launched the first edition of its "Young Entrepreneurs" contest for students aged 14 to 18 enrolled in Andorra. The programme aims to promote innovative, sustainable projects with clear social impact and to support participants with mentoring, workshops and a public pitching event.
Registrations are open until 30 January 2026. Entrants may participate individually or in teams and must submit proposals in Catalan using the foundation’s official template. Projects will be developed during the 2025–2026 school year, with a focused mentoring and development phase scheduled for February and March. Teams will formalise their participation in April at the Bomosa Young Entrepreneurs Congress, and public presentations and the awards ceremony will take place in May.
Each project will be paired with a volunteer mentor from Bomosa and partner organisations, including Aumentium, Creand Accelera, BMS Consultoria Estratègica, Ardan Consultants and Martí Sala Coaching, which will provide technical experience and guidance. Organisers will also run workshops on creativity, leadership and teamwork, project management and viability, ethical use of artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship.
Submissions will be evaluated on viability, sustainability, innovation, social impact and teamwork. At the May congress teams will present their proposals in 7–10 minute pitches before a jury and a public audience; the event will be open to the public and include a prize decided by popular vote.
The contest will award a total of €3,000 across six categories: €1,000 for the best overall project; €500 each for sustainability, social impact and innovation; €300 for teamwork; and a €200 public prize.
Bomosa representatives said the contest grew from earlier entrepreneurship workshops in local schools and from students’ eagerness to create projects. Organisers say the initiative aims to give young people tools, space and confidence to pursue ideas aligned with values around people, planet and future, and to show that those values can also be promoted by the private sector.
