The Centre Comercial Andorrà (historically l’Escale) resumes commercial activity today with the reopening of its first and second floors, customers were informed yesterday. The building has been undergoing an extensive renovation for months.
The works include remodeling the Biscariet passage that runs through the centre and links Avinguda Meritxell with the Prada Ramon area. That passage will be left semi-covered and will feature a children’s playground on its roof. The building’s owners were also able to raise the structure’s height on both sides following an agreement with the capital’s council.
The first and second floors have been completed and will offer products such as toys and clothing from today. In recent months the centre had reduced its retail space to allow the renovation works to be finished.
