CityXerpa Pay, supported by Andbank as technological and financial partner, has integrated Bizum into point-of-sale (POS) terminals in Andorra. The CityXerpa Pay payment app can be installed on standard market terminals, enabling merchants to accept Bizum payments directly from their POS.
The launch comes ahead of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the Christmas shopping season. Activating Bizum via the POS gives retailers a fast, familiar and widely used payment option that is intended to improve the shopping experience and help conversion during high-demand periods.
Merchants affiliated with CityXerpa Pay will continue to benefit from a 0% banking commission on Bizum transactions, as well as on payments made through the platform and on regular POS payments, under the agreement between CityXerpa and Andbank. The partnership aims to support the digitalisation of local commerce by providing competitive payment solutions.
