The Encamp parish council convened the annual nightlife working table to review the winter season in Pas de la Casa, bringing together nightlife operators, parish officials and representatives from several government ministries to assess operations and share information.
Laura Mas, Encamp’s cònsol major, opened the meeting with a detailed review of the jointly produced good‑practice manual, highlighting measures such as the recent installation of video‑surveillance cameras, reminders about public‑space regulations and the ban on distributing printed advertising in the streets. She said these measures are essential to guarantee safety, coexistence and a quality environment for residents and visitors.
Councillor for Economic Reactivation Nino Marot presented the events calendar for the 2025–26 season and consulted with traders and organisers to collect feedback and possible adjustments, stressing the need for ongoing, fluid collaboration among all parties.
Sergi Ruiz, head of the Unit for Prevention and Environmental Control at the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock, reported that for the second consecutive year no formal complaints had been registered, a result ministries attribute to the reorganisation of nightlife activities and compliance with the agreed good practices.
Interior Minister Ester Molné emphasised the importance of continued coordination between administrations and the sector to maintain a safe environment throughout the winter season. Chief Inspector Ramon Torné of the Citizen Security Unit presented the police balance, noting that despite high attendance at peak times no significant incidents were recorded at festivals or other activities in Pas de la Casa during the past season. Police said the special winter device will be maintained, with two night patrols and public‑order teams present at all festivals.
Tourism Minister Jordi Torres said the meetings help ensure visitors enjoy a secure and comfortable experience and thanked local businesses for their cooperation. Participants highlighted improved coexistence between nightlife venues and residents, crediting the concentration of evening activity in peripheral areas and measures such as group guides to reduce noise during returns to accommodation.
Around 15 sector representatives attended and expressed a willingness to continue working through the nightlife table. Representatives from the tourism sector, Andorra Turisme, the Economic and Social Council and the ski resort also took part.
