Andorran Institute for Women hosts day to combat gender-based violence

The Andorran Institute for Women held a day yesterday focused on raising awareness of and combating gender-based violence. The event began with a screening of the short film La foguera, directed by Àlex Gazner.

After the screening, the institute’s secretary-general, Judith Pallares, welcomed attendees and highlighted the importance of creating spaces for reflection to tackle the problem with a cross-cutting and committed approach, citing the debate panel “Gender-based violence: legal implications and social consequences.”
