The Spanish Ministry of Education has published its annual calls to fill teaching and technical advisory positions abroad for the 2026–2027 school year. The initiative again includes assignments to Andorra for both teachers and technical advisers, underlining the country’s role in Spain’s network of educational presence overseas.
A total of 109 positions are open to career teachers from the corps of primary school teachers, secondary teachers, vocational training instructors and staff from official schools of languages. In addition, 19 technical advisory posts have been announced. Besides Andorra, destinations include countries such as France, Germany, the United States, Brazil, Morocco and Portugal, among others.
Selected teachers will work in Spanish schools abroad, in Spanish sections within schools operating under local educational systems, or with groups dedicated to Spanish language and culture. Technical advisers will be responsible for managing educational programmes, promoting the Spanish language and culture, and strengthening institutional ties with host countries.
Appointments may last up to six school years for teaching staff and up to five years for technical advisers, with certain exceptions for the European Schools. The deadline to submit applications is 2 December at 10:00.
