The Síndic General, Carles Ensenyat, and the Subsíndica General, Sandra Codina, made an institutional visit to Sant Julià de Lòria on Tuesday, a year and a half after their first meeting with parish authorities. They were received by the parish consuls, Cerni Cairat and Sofia Cortesao, and held a working meeting focused on national political matters and the parish’s strategic projects.
During the visit the representatives of the Consell General inspected several ongoing municipal works. They viewed progress on the Calonge–Sant Antoni square, in front of the sports centre, where interventions aim to calm traffic, improve mobility and enhance public use of the space.
Ensenyat and Codina also toured the renovation works at the Centre Cultural i de Congressos Lauredià, which is now in its final phase. The refurbished facility is expected to become a key venue for the parish’s cultural and social activities.
